Ariana's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy organic and chemical fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, etc.
Ariana, 31, is married and is the mother of three children. She is a small producer of staple grain crops and livestock. She was able to attend school through the fourth year of high school, as at the age of 18 she started a new life with her spouse. From there, she gradually gained experience in agriculture, and she owns 15 manzanas [approx. 26 acres] of land, which she uses to grow staple grain crops. This is why she went directly into farming and ranching. On her land, she grows 13 manzanas of beans, and she also has 4 dairy cows and 4 calves. She is requesting a loan at Fundenuse with Kiva funds to buy agricultural supplies that will help her to use best practices in her bean crop, applying them at the opportune times when the crop needs cultivation and agronomic management. Her future plans are to buy more land for pasture.
