Julexy Monserrate's story

Julexy Monserrate, 21, is in a common-law relationship and has a two-year-old child. Her husband doesn't have a job at the moment. They live in the city of Portoviejo, a place of beautiful rural landscapes and beaches--a place that has been very impacted economically and socially by the pandemic.

She's a hardworking woman who looks for ways to earn the resources with which to help her husband, who doesn't have a job. And with just her business she's getting ahead. She works selling clothing.

After the pandemic started she began to sell through social networks, which she still does. But now she's going out to sell because she makes better sales that way and, even though she's still fearful, she does it because that's how she manages to earn her living.

This loan is to buy pants, t-shirts, blouses, and other garments.

She hopes this passes and everything returns to the way it was before.
