Villa Concepción Group's story
The group Villa Concepción was founded over two years ago and has been working with Fundación Paraguaya. The majority of its members already have their own businesses, but the group also includes four women who will be just starting out. The members are engaged in various retail activities which incluD.: sales of fruits and vegetables, sales of homemaD. empanadas (filled with chicken, meat, ham and cheese), sales of general merchandise such as pasta, sugar, flour, cooking oil, soap as well as sales of clothing and medicines. All the members desire a better future for their children, and for this reason they make twice the effort to be able to proviD. them with everything necessary for their education and development. One of the members is Margarita M.; she sells clothing from a vending post that she maintains in her home. Her dream is to see her children grow up to become professionals, and for this reason she will continue to work hard to proviD. them with everything they need. Margarita appreciates the support that she receives from Fundación Paraguaya and is requesting a loan which will be used to purchase T-shirts, pants, jeans, jackets, sweatshirts, footwear, and other inventory.
