A loan helped to buy goats to resell in order to support her family.

Gneta Group's story

Sali is the woman who is holding the two lines of goats in the photo. She is an educated Malian salesperson. She is 42 years old and the mother of seven: one boy and six girls all of whom attend school. Sali has been raising livestock for more than eleven years. Her husband is a public servant and he helps her with her work. She is a creditworthy client of RMCR.

Sali purchases her stock in the markets in the area and resells the animals in the same markets. The profits she makes allow her to meet the needs of her family. She borrows money from RMCR to buy more goats and develop her business. Sali frequently encounters the same problem which is a slump in sales of goats at the market. Her dream is to become a major seller in the future to better satisfy the needs of her family.
