Rachel is a 38-year-old woman who is married with six children, and they live in a community in Honiara, the capital of Solomon Island. She runs a small general store business selling rice, canned foods and noodles in her community to earn a living. She has been in this business for four years.

Rachel has requested a loan to pay for additional rice, noodles, canned foods, and sugar to increase her stock and assist her in running her business. She plans to use her profits to meet her family's weekly expenses and improve her business. She joined SPBD in 2016.
