Kuña Poty Group's story
The group called Kuña Poty is in its seventh loan cycle with the Women’s Committee Program, where everyone works and helps each other to get ahead. They're also doing the poverty-elimination survey, through which they want to find out about their life situation and fight to improve it.
One of them is Elva, she is dedicated to selling clothing. She mentions that she has a modest workshop, where she works every day from early in the morning. Her work has allowed her to help her family to be able to give them a better quality of life, and for them to not have to go through any kind of need. Her goal is to be able to continue getting training to be able to improve her quality of life and that of her family so that they do not have to experience hardships.
She is requesting this loan to invest in the purchase of fabrics, threads, elastics, and other products to continue making garments as she has been doing.
Observation: Only one person appears in this photo, but this loan is for a group. The group photo was not possible due to efforts to avoid crowding people together because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
