Nia Moja Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase a supply of 20 sacks of coal, which will strengthen her initial capital.

Nia Moja Group's story

Suzana is a client with the microfinance institution Hekima and represents the village group "Nia Moja". She is 58 years old, widowed and has 3 children; 2 of them attend school and one is already independent.

She established her business selling women's shoes3 years ago using start-up funds she got from her husband. Later she got involved with the Hekima program to support her business, which has been developing progressively. With this new loan, she will stock up on women's shoes wholesale, which will strengthen her initial capital. The challenge of her business is linked to governmental taxes.

She would like her children to continue their studies and wants to feed her family. Finally, she wishes to thank Hekima and its partners for the support shown to business owners without access to traditional banking facilities in the context of the global crisis caused by covid-19.
