Susana Natividad's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase costume jewellery, make-up, perfumes, etc.

Susana Natividad's story

Susana Natividad and her family live in Tosagua, it is a productive canton, where they grow cacao, coffee, plantains, and corn among other things. It is a cattle-raising area where they raise poultry and pigs. It has a very well-known gastronomy and its main dish is fried and grilled chame [a type of Ecuadorian fish].

Susana Natividad works selling catalogue products from Avon. Belcorp (Ibel, Cyzone, Esika) (beauty products, cosmetics, perfumes, and women's accessories). Her sales method is door-to-door and she collects weekly. She sells to her relatives, friends and neighbours. She also sells Topsy’s ice cream daily at her home.

During this global crisis, she has had financial difficulties, her customers cannot pay her because they have been unemployed, and others have died. The health crisis at first was very bad for her, since she was no longer able to sell but now, gradually, she is reactivating it so to be able to continue generating her income.

With this new loan, she will purchase orders of costume jewellery, make-up, perfumes, etc. Her dream is to have her own home and for her family to be healthy.
