A loan helped to purchase wood, locks and drill bits, and perform maintenance on his tools.

Elvis Modesto's story

Elvis Modesto and his family live in Tosagua, a canton that produces cacao, coffee, bananas, corn and other crops. There are cattle ranchers who raise poultry and pigs.

Elvis Modesto has a small furniture workshop at his house where his customers come to order a variety of furniture such as chairs, doors, dining room sets, beds, and modular furniture, depending on their needs. They are usually custom orders with special details.

In the beginning, the health crisis affected Elvis Modesto very negatively, as he could not work and his customers did not go through with projects, but now he is slowly reactivating it so that he can continue to generate earnings.

The purpose of this loan is to purchase wood, locks and drill bits, and perform maintenance on his tools. Elvis Modesto’s dream is to have a large workshop with technology so that he can continue making furniture, and that his family enjoy good health.
