Tushuhudiane Group's story

Esta is a client of the micro-finance institution Hekima and is the president of the groupe villageois called "Tushuhudiane." She is married, 40 years old, and a mother of eight children, who are all in school. Her partner is a driver.

Esta sells food products, a business she started in 1996 with funds she received from her husband. Later, she joined Hekima to support her business, which continues to develop. With this new loan, she is going to buy a truck load of sugar cane, which will increase her intitial capital. One challenge to her business is the poor state of the roads.

Esta would like to develop her business and to see her children continue in school. Finally, she thanks Hekima and their partners for their support to business owners who lack access to banking services in the context of the global COVID-19 crisis.
