'Amelia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy pandanus leaves for her weaving business and to pay the expense of finishing her new house.

'Amelia's story

'Amelia is a weaver who makes brown mats that she sells locally and also sends to relatives overseas so that she can earn money for her family and maintain her business. She is married and has six grown children, but the three youngest live at home. In addition to performing her daily chores, 'Amelia is part of a group of women in her village who weave together. She spends most of her time weaving, since her family is dependent on this business. 'Amelia is an active member of her weaving group, but the only factor that is slowing down her business is that she does not have enough pandanus leaves for weaving.

The prices for pandanus goods at the local market are increasing, so a loan will not only solve her problem of low inventory, but she will also be able to pay for the finishing touches on her new house. Please help 'Amelia by supporting her work and her business.
