The store is located in a strategic location and regularly fetches a good number of both refugee and host community clients. Faruk is also a certified WFP food vendor for the refugees and hence the consistent growth is experienced in his business.

Faruk was an active participant of AEC’s business training program focused on financial management and increasing sales. He was able to successfully apply the skills acquired from the training in running the business which now boasts improved cashflows and efficiency.

He has successfully paid his first loan. He is requesting another loan in order to increase his working capital to allow him add food stock for the store, and hence continue serving the community with more consumption options.
