Rose's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase more fish, garie and fufu to sell.

Rose's story

Meet 33-year-old Rose from Liberia. She is a married mother and has four children, three of whom are in school, and all live at home. Rose attended school up to the college level.

Her main source of income is selling fish, garri, and fufu. She started the business with her own little savings. She says at times sales are slow. She sells six days a week, and she has been managing her sales for 11 years now.

She requested this loan from BRAC Liberia, a Kiva Field partner to purchase more fish, garri, and fufu to sell to her good clients. She likes her business because it helps to support her family.

In the future, she wants to build her house and send her children to college. She says thanks and gives appreciation to BRAC Liberia and the Kiva community for their support.
