The “Nueva Esperanza” [new hope] Communal Bank is part of the Inti Wasi branch office. It is made up of eight members who are identified. It is run by a board of directors led by Maria Esther.

Maria Esther, age 50, is married and has four children. Currently, she has a business selling food. She says she learned this business long ago. This kind of work allows her to generate funds to support her family financially.

The loan Maria Esther is going to take out today will be to expand the kitchen of her business to make it more comfortable.

Maria Esther’s aspirations are to expand her food vending business. Her goal is to give her little children a better life and to have them become professionals. Maria Esther is asking that you place your trust in her communal bank.
