A loan helped to buy generic medications and specialized medications to grow her initial capital.

Lukoo Group's story

Madam Salome is a client of the IMF Hekima and chairs the groupe villageoise Lukoo. She is 49 years old and married with 5 children, all of whom attend school. Her partner is a businessman. Madam Salome sells pharmaceutical products. She began her business 14 years ago with starting funds she received from her husband. Later, she partnered with Hekima to support her business, which she has continued to grow.

With this new loan, Madam Salome will purchase generic medications and specialized medications which will grow her initial capital. The challenge faced by her business is related to the expiration of the medications.

Madam Salome wants her children to continue their studies. She thanks Hekima and its partners for their support of non-bankable business owners during the global COVID-19 crisis. Due to COVID-19, only the group leader has been featured in the photo to respect social distancing measures.
