Yayah's story

Good day lenders! Meet one of KBMI’s clients, Yayah. She is thirty-two years old and married with two sons and three daughters. Yayah is a housewife that takes care of her children, and her husband is employed. One of her children is still in school. One impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on Yayah's family is the switch to online schooling. This change has made it difficult for the family's child to access course materials and send assignments to the teacher.

Yayah has applied for a loan of 2,200,000 Indonesian rupiahs (IDR) from KBMI to buy a smartphone for her child’s educational needs. Yayah's income is not sufficient to buy a smartphone, but she will be able to repay the loan received by using the income from her husband.

Yayah is a very hardworking mother who always strives for the best for her children and improves living conditions to create a happy life. She is very grateful for this opportunity and wants to thank all lenders.

Note: The boy in the photo is Yayah's son.
