Confianza Group's story

Meet Carla Isidra (first on the left wearing a pink blouse and black shorts). She is 41 years old and is a member of the Pro Mujer communal bank "Confianza", in Chinandega, Nicaragua. She has been in the group for 8 years and is happy and grateful for life.

Her goal is to have a larger business. Currently, she makes tortillas and baked beans. In the future, she envisions having a grocery store and improving her home. Through her hard work she has managed to give her youngest child a better education, almost finishing high school.

Carla Isidra wants a loan to buy corn, firewood, and beans. She loves her business because she sees the daily income and it allows her to feed herself and pay for what she needs.

Support women like Carla and her friends from "Confianza" to achieve their dreams! A loan empowers them for a better future.
