Dúo Queremos Florecer Group's story

The Queremos Florecer group is represented by Gabriela Pahola, who is in a committed relationship and a mother to a son, 6, and a daughter, 2. She is a hard-working and committed woman who has earned her living for the last few years from her women and children's clothes selling business.

Despite the effect of COVID-19 on the country, Gabriela Pahola has continued to put everything she has into helping her partner cover the household expenses. She works incredibly hard to support her two-year-old daughter who was born with a condition that affects her legs. The medicine and physical therapy required to achieve her goal of helping her daughter to walk have cost more than Gabriela Pahola can realistically afford.

Gabriela Pahola is applying for a loan from FAPE and Kiva to buy a range of new clothing such as dresses, blouses, trousers and sweaters for women and children.

Gabriela Pahola greatly appreciates FAPE’s support as it allows her to provide for her family and improve her financial situation. She continues working hard in order to achieve her goal of having her own premises from where she can sell her clothing.
