A loan helped to buy more dry fish to sell.

Anita's story

Anita is a 35-year-old entrepreneur. She is a single mother with two kids, both are schooling and live at home. Anita attended school up to 11th grade. She deals in a business selling dry fish, a business she has managed for 5 years, and describes herself as a hardworking business woman. She started to sell with her own little savings. Anita sells 6 days a week and 12 hours daily.

To continue her sales, she applied for a loan through BRAC Liberia and Kiva Field Partner. The loan will be used to buy more dry fish to sell to her good clients. She likes her business because it gives her money and she is proud of her business because it takes care of her children's wellbeing. In future, she hopes to build her house and have her children continue their education.
