but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy cocoa to sell to cocoa-exporting companies.

Julius's story

Julius is aged 69 years, married with ten children and lives in Bundibugyo, Uganda. He deals in the cocoa farming business, selling his cocoa harvest to buying companies in town. He also owns coffee gardens for additional income. He has future prospects of educating his children and availing basic needs for the family, but is faced with challenges of inadequate finance, mainly for labor.

He is hardworking and considers cocoa a quick income generating venture. He used the previous school fees loan to pay fees for his daughter in secondary school. He intends to use this loan for paying labor to harvest and dry cocoa plus clearing other cocoa gardens.
