A loan helped to buy dairy cows in order to increase her sales of milk to a local factory.

Elmira's story

Elmira, 47, is married and has two children. She has secondary education and works at the kindergarten. She is hard-working, goal-oriented and entrepreneurial by nature. She knows the nuances of running agricultural business and can invest resources effectively.

To provide an additional source of income for her family, Elmira has been involved in animal husbandry since 2000. Thanks to her relentless work and responsible approach to business, she managed to bring her farm's livestock headcount up to five cows. She also owns 2.0 hectares of irrigated land where she grows beans.

With the goal of further developing her business, Elmira turned to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 250,000 som (KGS) to buy dairy cows in order to increase her sales of organic milk to the local plant. She plans to invest the proceeds from the loan into further development of her farm.
