Ibuye Group's story
Mrs. Odila is an IMF Hekima client who presides over the group villageois “IBUYE.” She is a 49-year-old married mother of seven, all of whom are responsible. Her partner is a businessman. She sells clothing, a business she started 15 years ago with funds from her husband. Later, she incorporated the Hekima program to support her business, which overtime has grown progressively. With this new loan, she is going to stock up on a bundle of secondhand clothes, which will reinforce her starting capital. The challenge in her business is linked to unpaid debts. She would like to grow her business and for her children to continue going to school. Finally, she wishes to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they bring to business owners who are unmonetizable in this context of a global crisis linked to COVID-19. The photo is only of the group leader because of COVID-19 out of respect of social distancing measures.
