Niya Yetu Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock up on 35 sacks of rice at wholesale, which will reinforce her starting capital.

Niya Yetu Group's story

Mrs. Francine is an IMF Hekima client who presides over the group villageois “NIYA YETU.” She is a 55-year-old married mother of five, all of whom are responsible. Her partner is a businessman. She sells foods, a business she started in 2010 with funds from her husband. Later, she incorporated the Hekima program to support her business, which overtime has grown progressively. With this new loan, she is going to stock up on 35 sacks of rice at wholesale, which will reinforce her starting capital. The challenge in her business is linked to the instability of the rate of the dollar. She would like for her children to continue going to school and to buy her own land. Finally, she wishes to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they bring to business owners who are unmonetizable in this context of a global crisis linked to COVID-19. The photo is only of the group leader because of COVID-19 out of respect of social distancing measures.
