A loan helped to buy more rice, Vita, red oil, charcoal and gasoline to sell.

Emma's story

Emma, who is 35 years old, is a married mother with two kids. Both of her children are of school-going age and they live at home. Emma attended school up to 12th grade. She sells rice, Vita, red oil, charcoal and gasoline. She has been running this business for 16 years and has no problems with her business. She started the business with her own earnings and her aunty taught her how to sell. She uses a vehicle to transport supplies to her business site.

With the loan from Kiva, Emma would like to buy more rice, Vita, red oil, charcoal and gasoline to sell to her good clients. She likes her business because it makes her an independent woman. In the future, she wants to own a gasoline station. Emma is highly grateful for the financial support rendered.
