Thanh Yen 37 Group's story

Married very early, Mrs. Bon, 42 years old, is a Thai ethnic woman who has two older sons, a daughter-in-law and a 10-month-old son. Her family lives in a house in a poor village in Dien Bien province where agriculture is the main activity.
She and her husband are farmers and do some work to make a living such as growing rice, maize, raising ducks and buffalo. Her oldest son works as a ranger and her youngest son is a teacher. Her children are grown-up and successful but she always tries tp hard work and wishes to expand her breeding to develop the family economy, set an example for their children to study and imitate. Recently, she learned that the Anh Chi Em program has loans to people to expand husbandry and breeding-technique support so she boldly got a loan from the program. After two rounds of loans and successful payment, she decided to get the third round loan at the program to invest in buying a baby buffalo. She hopes that her 10 years of experience in buffalo-raising together with the technical support from the program's staff will help the baby buffalo grow fast, be healthy and reproduce well. She plans to use the profits to invest in buying chickens, ducks and pigs to expand her breeding.
