Desmochados Aty Group's story

The group called Desmochados Aty is made up of 17 women. They all heads of their households who want to improve themselves and progress, and especially get through the difficult moment they are living through as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.

One of the members is Sebastiana, who is known for being a very hard working person and a fighter. She strives to get ahead and continue to work.

She sells cheese bread (chipas), which is a traditional Paraguayan dish and is eaten throughout the year. She explains that she has an established customer base and is searching for a way to continue to improve, given that she is the breadwinner in her family.

She is seeking this loan to buy cassava starch, cornflour, anise and Paraguayan cheese along with other items in order to continue with her work.

Please note: There is only one person in the photograph although this is a group loan. A group photograph was not possible so as to avoid the gathering of people due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
