Umoja Ni Nguvu Group's story

Ms. Heleine is a client of Hekima IMF and chairs the village group "UMOJA NI NGUVU". She is married, 35 years old and the mother of 10 children, 6 of whom are in school, her partner is unemployed.

She is a seller of vegetables and spices, she started this business 20 years ago with the start-up funds received from her mother. Later she involved the Hekima program to support her business, during which it has gradually evolved. With this new loan, she will source vegetables and spices, tomatoes, snacks, oil, and peanuts, which will strengthen her initial capital. The challenge of her business is related to the lack of customers.

She would like her children to continue to study and to feed her family. Finally, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for their support of non-bankable business owners in this context of the global crisis linked to Covid-19. The photo is only of the leader of the group because of Covid-19 in respect of the social distancing measures.
