Tufaliane Group's story

Madame Mariam is a Hekima IMF member, and president of the Tufaliane Group, She is married, 36 years old and the mother of 5 children, all of whom are in school. Her spouse is a driver.

Mariam works in transportation and services, and started this business 8 years ago with start up funds from her husband. She later joined the Hekima program to support her business, and developed it gradually. With this new loan, she will buy supplies of beans, corn and oil, which will strengthen her initial capital. The challenge of her business is insecurity on the roads.

Mariam would like her children to continue their studies, and to continue feeding her family. She wishes to thank Hekima and its partners for supporting non bankable business owners during the global Covid-19 crisis.
