A loan helped to buy bushels of rice, sugar, flour, and boxes of oil.

Nancy Rocio's story

Though the support received, Nancy, a single mother known for being sociable, responsible, and enterprising, lives in a small rented house that consists of two bedrooms, and where they improvised the kitchen by dividing one of the bedrooms. The family's primary source of income is the sale of stuffed animals and candy via door-to-door sales. Thanks to this, she has managed to support her humble family. With this work she also has been able to pull together a bit of money to establish a new business selling groceries by request and in a traveling fashion. By doing these two jobs she covers the household's needs.

By traversing the streets of the city with her merchandise, Nancy has built a good customer base who request more items and basic necessities. However, she lacks the capital to satisfy the demand by stocking her merchandise. This is why she is requesting the loan to buy bushels of rice, sugar, flour, and boxes of oil. With this, she will generate more income for her household.
