Kevin Daysir's story

Kevin is a young entrepreneur who is 23 years old and a resident of the municipality of Soledad. He has a business of selling fruits, chorizo sausages, juices, homemade corn beverages, and other products. Kevin is a young man who has the drive to succeed. He and his partner are in a common-law relationship and she helps him with preparing fried snacks and other delicacies. Kevin has been in business for two years and hopes to keep growing since he has many plans.

His sales were affected by the crisis generated from the COVID-19 pandemic. He had to reinvent his business by focusing on home deliveries and sales through social networks. This enabled him to stay in operation. Kevin currently applied to the program called “Atlántico Responds” in order to mitigate some of the impact on his business. He requested a Kiva loan, his first form of financing through Fundación Santo Domingo. He will invest the proceeds into his business by purchasing Spanish sausage, chorizo, skewers, napkins, disposable products, flour, sugar, fruits, and rice. Please support his loan so that he can be a success.
