A loan helped to buy livestock to increase her income from breeding livestock.

Zamira's story

This wonderful woman Zamira sends Hello from Talas village. She is 55 years old, married and raises three children. She has secondary education.

As a main source of income for her family, Zamira has been engaged in animal husbandry and crop farming since 1990. Thanks to her tireless work and her spouse's help with the farm, currently, there are two cows, 25 sheep and two horses on her farm, as well as a 1.64-ha plot of irrigated land where she grows organic beans.

With the goal of further developing her farming business, Zamira requests support from Kiva Fund in the amount of 100,000 som (KGS) to buy livestock in order to increase her income from livestock breeding. The proceeds from the loan will help her expand her farm by increasing livestock headcount and repair her house.
