Sela's story

Sela, 55, is an amazing mother who is full of hope and expectations for transformation in her life now that she has shared her profile on this platform. She is a smallholder dairy and horticulture farmer living in Meru, Kenya. She has been farming for many years and has never thought of going back. She takes her work on the farm seriously and ensures that she gets the best out of every opportunity that comes her way.

Filled with determination to better her family's conditions and undeterred by difficulties she has encountered, Sela has decided to expand her farm. She is humbly seeking a 40,000 KES loan that she will use to pay for farm inputs to grow more crops on the farm.

It takes a lot for a smallholder farmer to risk limited resources to expand their farm. With your help, Sela will be able to pay the high cost of farm inputs necessary for expansion. A significant portion of her profits will be reinvested into her farm to fuel growth.
