Noong Luong 31 Group's story

Ms. Thuong, 34 years old, is a Thai ethnic woman who is married and has two children: a son is in grade 9 and a daughter in kindergarten.

Her family lives with her mother-in-law in a small house on stilts in the northern mountains of Vietnam, where agriculture is the main income activity.

She and her husband together do some work to generate income for the family such as growing rice, raising fish, chickens and ducks.

She grew up in difficult circumstances, so she is always aware that she must work hard to rise out of poverty.

Therefore, after nine rounds of loan at Anh Chi Em program successfully paid, she decided to get a 10th loan in the program to invest in buying fingerlings and fish food, expanding breeding to improve family economy.

She hopes that with more her 10 years of experience in fish raising and technical support from program's staff, this investment will also be as profitable as previous investments, and she will re-invest it there is a profit.
