Fe Y Esperanza#2 Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to make fried manioc and plantain slices and to buy fireworks powder to sell.

Fe Y Esperanza#2 Group's story

Fe y Esperanza #2 is a communal bank of Pro Mujer located in Chinandega, Nicaragua. Ruth Noemi (at the front, wearing a white top and flowered skirt) is the group's representative this time around. Her husband is a worker and they have three children who go to school. Her dream is to see her children improve themselves and to build a better future for them. Ruth needs a loan to take advantage of the Christmas season, she will use it to buy fireworks powder to sell as allowed under local safety laws. She will also use part of the loan to make fried manioc and plantain slices, delicacies which she sells at the El Bisne market in Chinandega.
She has been in this line of work for seven years. She loves to cook. She needs financial support to improve her business.
We hope lenders will deposit their trust in Ruth and her borrowers' group, who are always punctual in their repayments and hope for help.
