Mujeres Emprendedoras Group's story

The "Mujeres Emprendedoras" (Enterprising Women) communal bank is in its ninth lending cycle with the Women's Committee Program. All of the members work hard to improve their families' quality of life and offer them respectable futures in which they have everything they need.

One of the communal bank members is Maria, who, in addition to being a member, is the president of this communal bank. She says that she is married and the mother of three children. Her children inspire her to do better and improve her situation each day. Maria earns her living selling lingerie. Through her work, she has been able to help in her home and keep growing.

Maria says that her business was affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. She wasn't able to work regularly and likewise, her business was affected. She is happy to continue as a member of the communal bank, which will be a big help to her.

Maria is requesting this loan so she can invest in capital for her business and be able to lift her business up again. She wants to purchase more lingerie for resale so she can improve her situation again.
