Bendu's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase more bread to sell.

Bendu's story

This is 30-year-old Bendu from Liberia. She is a married mother with four children. All of her children are attending school and live at home. Bendu is a high school graduate.

She is a hard-working business woman who sells bread. Her mother taught her how to sell, and her husband gives her money to start the business. She sells Monday through Saturday. She has no problems with her business, and she uses a car to transport supplies to her business site.

Bendu requires a loan through BRAC Liberia, a Kiva Field Partner in order to purchase more bread to sell to her good clients. She plans to use the profits generated from her business to help her husband at home. She likes her business because it gives her money each day she sells. In the future, she wants to continue her children's education. Bendu say thanks to BRAC and all Kiva lenders.
