Baraka Office Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock up on Bralima and Brasimba drinks to strengthen her initial capital.

Baraka Office Group's story

Therese is a Hekima client and chairs the "Baraka Office" village group. She is married, 56 years old, and mother of three children, one of whom attends school. Her partner is a driver.

Therese sells beverages. She launched this business 10 years ago with start-up funds received from her husband. Later, she got involved with the Hekima program to support her business, and she has evolved progressively since. With this new loan, she will stock up on Bralima and Brasimba drinks, which will strengthen her initial capital. The challenge of her business is linked to the multiplicity of state taxes.

She would like for her children to continue their studies and to feed her family. Finally, she wants to thank Hekima and its partners for their support of non-bankable business owners in the context of the global crisis linked to COVID-19. The photo only includes the group leader due to COVID-19.
