Melinda's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped To continue her fishing business and support the maintenance of her sari-sari store.
Melinda C. is happy-looking and feels so excited about the support that she received from Kiva lenders for her fishing business in her previous loan. Melinda prays they all be blessed. She has a sound and solid relationship with the Kiva/ASHI partnership. Now, Melinda is proposing another Kiva loan to continue her fish cage and to support the maintenance of her sari-sari (variety) store. She has been able to improve her businesses due to her access to bigger loans from Kiva lenders. In addition, Melinda revealed the huge impact the loan has made on her family as, with the additional income, she was able to afford to buy desired food items for her family to eat and ensure prompt weekly payment of her obligation to ASHI and other needs. She is also happy because she is able to eat well and support her husband in meeting the needs of the family. What Melinda hopes right now is that their businesses will continue to succeed because this has been their life, providing for their family for more than twenty-six years now. They love what they do in making their business achievements. Melinda’s businesses have been very helpful in achieving her dreams for her children. For her, it is joy to see fulfillment in her businesses and family and, with her children growing up, she will want to see them having the best in life.
