but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy materials and tools to make windows, bars, and railings, among other items.

Sebastian Roberto's story

Sebastián, age 38, is a micro-entrepreneur who lives in the city of Barranquilla. He has worked for more than six years making items from iron, silver, and aluminum, such as windows, bars, railings, etc. He started his business with small clients and orders. Now he has important clients for whom he does larger projects.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, his production declined; the construction sector had to be stopped. But now work has been reactivating for a few months. That is why he has joined the program “Barranquilla Responde”, led by the office of the mayor of the city of Barranquilla, in order to mitigate somewhat that impact. He requests a Kiva loan, his first financing by the Fundación Santo Domingo, to invest in the purchase of materials and tools to make windows, bars, railings, and other items. Please support his business loan; it will be a success.
