Taruma Group's story

Carmen is a 33-year-old woman. She is a single mother of a 3-year-old boy and a 10-year-old girl. She is also president of the TARUMA Community Bank. We can see her in the photograph holding a sign that says president.

Together with their communal bank, they requested a loan to increase their operating capital. Most of the members make a living from the sale of food in the market.

Carmen has had a restaurant for 2 years. Recently she was able to expand the space of her restaurant. Now she wants to expand the space by putting new chairs and tables, so that more people can approach her restaurant.

She wants the best for her children. She works hard for them.
