Kazi Ni Mali Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to increase her inventory of women's clothing which will grow her initial investment capital.

Kazi Ni Mali Group's story

Mme Bertha is a customer of Hekima IMF and leads the group villageoise Kazi Ni Mali. She is 60, married, and a mother of 5 children. Two of her children are in school and three are independent. Her husband is a repairman.

She sells clothing, a business which she launched 38 years ago with an initial capital provided by her husband. Subsequently, she got involved with Hekima for additional support and her business gradually progressed.

With this new loan she is going to build her inventory of women's clothing which will grow her initial investment capital. The challenge for her business is the multiple taxes imposed by the government.

Mme Bertha would like her children to continue their education and she would also like to feed her family. Finally she wishes to thank Hekima and its partners for their support of businesses which don't have access to traditional banking, especially in the context of the global Covid-19 crisis.

The photograph only shows the leader of the group due to Covid-19.
