A loan helped to buy a smartphone for her child’s education needs.

Jakiah's story

Good day, lenders! Meet one of KBMI’s clients, Jakiah. She is 40 years old and married, with one son and two daughters. Jakiah and her husband run a business selling wood. One of her children is still in school. The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on their family is the implementation of school from home that uses an online system. This made it difficult for their child to access the course materials and send assignments to the teacher.

She has applied for a loan of 2,100,000 Indonesian rupiahs (IDR) from KBMI to buy a smartphone for her child’s education needs. Her income is not sufficient to buy a smartphone, but she will be able to repay the loan received by using the profits generated from her business.

Jakiah is a very hardworking mother who always strives for the best for her children to improve their living conditions and create a happy life. She is very grateful for the opportunity and wants to thank all the lenders.

Note: The girl in the photo is Jakiah's daughter.
