A loan helped to buy construction supplies to renovate her old home.

Sokha's story

Sokha, age 35, is married and has three children who are attending school. She lives with her family in the area of Angkor Borei district, Takeo province. Sokha and her husband help each other to earn additional income by working as construction workers. Being a responsible mother, she works hard every day to generate income so that she can cover her daily costs and send her children to school. She works as a construction worker in her community with her team, providing this service to customers. She works at construction sites, performing physical tasks such as cleaning, removing debris, loading and unloading materials, assembling and disassembling temporary structures, digging trenches, compacting earth, reading and following construction plans and blueprints, and assisting skilled craftspeople with their duties.

Due to a shortage of her money, she is asking for a loan to buy construction supplies to renovate her old home. She hopes that, with the help of the loan, she can provide everyone in her family with a suitable place to live and comfortable living conditions. She will have enough funds to purchase construction supplies such as bricks, cement, zinc, and other necessary things and pay for labor costs. She sends thanks to all lenders for helping poor people like her to improve her family's economics and she believes that through her hard work and perseverance she will be able to attain a better standard of living someday.
