Sarah's story

For every setback in her life, Sarah (pictured above) makes a comeback. She is a 48 years old and has one child. She lives with her family in Eldoret, a town that was significantly struck by the 2007–2008 Kenyan crisis when violence occurred in Kenya.

Sarah supports her family through mixed dairy and crop farming, work that she has been practicing for the past ten years. Through farming, she has made her life meaningful. Sarah is seeking this loan to buy farming inputs which she will use to improve her farm production and make more income to support her family during this tough economic recession.
