Sonem's story

Sonem, age 32 lives with her family located in the area of Angkor Chey District, Kampot Province. At home, She has been operating a small convenience shop, offering many types of products including grocery items, snack foods, sweets, powders, canned food, noodles, and miscellaneous household things to local people in her community.

She has a good responsibilities in her task such as asking customers questions and recommend the best product based on their desires and needs and preparing products to be displayed on the sales floor. She also has sales skills, customer service, money handling, negotiation, memorization, communication skills and physical fitness.

Currently, her house doesn't have a safe latrine and can not provide sanitation to her members. As of now, she is requesting a loan to build a safe latrine at home. In this way she hopes to increase the value of her home, improve sanitation, ensuring healthy living conditions to safeguard the health of her family and protect the environment.

With this loan support, she is able to purchase construction supplies such as bricks and cement to build a safe latrine and pay for labor cost.
