A loan helped to pay for land filling around his house to cover the mud.

Thy's story

Thy, age 25, is married and has one child who's attending school. He lives with his family in the area of Preah Sdach District, Prey Veng Province. He and his wife help each other to earn more income by working as construction workers. Being a responsible father, Thy works hard every day to generate income so that he can cover his daily costs and send his child to school.

He works as a construction worker in his community with his team, providing this service to customers. He works at construction sites and will perform physical tasks such as cleaning, removing debris, loading and unloading materials, assembling and disassembling temporary structures, digging trenches, compacting earth, reading and following construction plans and blueprints, and assisting skilled craftspeople with their duties. The job of a laborer varies, changing from day to day. He performs a variety of duties involving tool use, lifting, carrying, and managing equipment and machinery to provide support and aid to the skilled craftspeople on-site.

Because of the shortage of his finances, he has applied for a loan iof KHR 8,000,000 to pay for land filling around his house to cover the mud. With this loan support, he can pay for land filling and can provide his family members with a good environment, fresh air, protection from illness, and living in good conditions.

He sends thanks to all lenders who have contributed their funds to help a poor fellow like him.
