A loan helped to build a safe latrine at home.

Sreymoey's story

Sreymoey, age 39, is married and has one child who's attending school. She lives with her family in the area of Tram Kak District, Takeo Province. She earns a living by having an agricultural business.

She is raising some poultry at home, such as chickens and ducks, and sells them to the local traders three or four months after feeding. She has a good task in building the chicken coop. A safe chicken coop is one that will keep the chickens protected from the weather and predators. She makes sure there is a place for the chickens to get out of the winter blizzards, as well as a place for them to cool off in the heat of summer. She doesn't rely on a tiny chicken tractor for more birds than it is designed for. She pays attention to the guidelines given with most chicken coop plans or pre-made purchased kits and abides by them. The more space per bird, the happier the chickens.

Currently, her house doesn't have a safe latrine and cannot provide sanitation to her family members. She is requesting a loan to build a safe latrine at home. In this way, she hopes to increase the value of her home, improve sanitation by ensuring healthy living conditions to safeguard the health of her family, and protect the environment.

With this loan support, she can purchase construction supplies such as bricks and cement to build a safe latrine and pay for labor costs.

She sends thanks to all lenders for contributed their funds to help a poor fellow like her.
