Twitezimbere Gatebe Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase more fertilizer, seeds etc. to use in the field.

Twitezimbere Gatebe Group's story

Clementine is 43 years old, married and has eight children. She is very committed to the well-being of her family and she always works to improve her family's standard of living. For the past 20 years, Clementine owns an agriculture business and sells Irish potatoes, maize, beans, etc. Also, she has one employee to help her.

She wants to expand her business but change of climate prevents her from reaching her sales targets and slows her business profitability. For this reason Clemantine is requesting this loan to purchase more fertilizer, seeds, etc. to use in the field. The profits generated by this loan will be saved and then reinvested again into her business in order to keep expanding it profitably. She is the TWITEZIMBERE GATEBE group leader and her with the team are trying to pay on time.

Therefore, she is sincerely grateful towards the Kiva lenders for allowing her this loan so that she can expand her business and improve her family's standard of living.

Due to the global pandemic, VisionFund Rwanda was not able to photograph all the members, but was able to get one representative for the group photo.
