Elvira's story

Elvira is 46 years old and not married. She has a higher education and is hardworking, driven and enterprising by nature. She is well-versed in the technical aspects of running an agricultural business and knows how to invest in her business. Has been engaged in animal husbandry as her main source of income since 1990. Thanks to her hard work and responsible approach to business, she has been able to grow her herd to 5 cows, 15 sheep, and 3 horses. She grows organic strawberries in her garden for her own consumption.

To further develop her farm, she has applied for a loan with Bai Tushum Bank for 150,000 som (KGS) to buy dairy cows to increase income from livestock breeding and sales from organic milk. With the income made from the loan, she plans to invest in further expansion of her farm.
