La Conscience Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock up on cornmeal, cassava flour, salted fish, tomatoes, etc.

La Conscience Group's story

Ms. Aime is a client of the microfinance institution Hekima and presides over the village group named “LA CONSCIENCE”. She is married, 38 years old, and the mother of five children, all in school. Her husband is a government worker.

A vendor of grocery items, she started this enterprise in 2010 with startup funds from the Hekima program for supporting her enterprise and has since been progressing in it.

With this new loan, she is going to stock up on cornmeal, cassava flour, salted fish, tiny fish, and tomatoes to bolster her initial capital. The challenge in her business has to do with a shortage of customers.

She would like to feed her family and for her children to continue with their studies. So, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for supporting business owners lacking cash during this global crisis tied to Covid-19. The photo shows only the group leader because of Covid-19.
